After 34 years working for the state at DFCS, my mom worked her last day today and is officially a retired Mimi! Her friends and co-workers threw her a surprise Luau today. Brody and I were in on the secret and got to celebrate with her. My mom and dad love the beach and cruising so that was the theme. My dad is in Florida taking care of his mom who just had surgery, but as you can see in the pictures he was still part of the shindig.. :)

Congratulations, Mimi! We are very proud of you and excited that you and Pops are both retired now. I didn't make it to Pops' retirement party since he was working nights, but he went out with a surprise party too a couple of weeks ago. Brody is looking forward to more time with both of you!
