Since Adley is quickly approaching 7 months, it is time for me to get her 6 month update done! She turned 6 months old when we were at the beach and I really can't believe we are half way to a year.
She had her 6 month check up when we got back from our trip. Our pediatrician was pleased with her weight gain and once again told us that she is just always going to be tiny.
Weight: 13lbs 8oz (6th percentile)
Height: 26in (51st percentile)
Head Circumference: 40.8cm (13th percentile)
Side by Side of B and A at 6 months.. they are total opposites in looks and personality.
Diaper: size 2
Clothes: mostly 6 months
Food: Nursing and we started solids a few days after she turned 6 months old. She still isn't really sure about solids. Sometimes she eats great and other times she is not interested. I am making her food and so far she has had oatmeal, avocados, green beans, peas, and carrots.
Napping: Thankful to report she is doing so much better with naps, usually 2-3 good naps each day...woohoo!!!
Nighttime Sleep: bed around 8:00p.m. and wakes up for the day around 8a.m., but during the night she is so inconsistent. Some days she will only wake up once sometime between 3-6 to eat and other nights she is up 2-3 times. She is cutting her two bottom teeth- one is completely in- so I am hoping that is the culprit for waking up so much.
New skills: scooting backwards to get where she wants, playing with toys (trying to take her brother's toys), sitting with support alone for a few seconds
She will scoot under anything!
Likes: her elephant lovey, bath time with big brother, being held and talked to, playing on the floor, "talking", being outside, stroller rides, paci, swinging
Dislikes: carseat, being cold, mommy leaving the room and getting dressed

We added a baby swing to our swing set and she is LOVING it!
