Update on Andy

Andy, our newest nephew, was born on September 19th with a diaphragmatic hernia.  He is doing remarkably well for a newborn with this condition.  He had surgery last Friday to correct the problem and has been making great progress since then.  His breathing tube will hopefully come out tomorrow and he will begin feedings (through a feeding tube) today.  Amber (his mom) was able to hold him for the first time yesterday and now we are all anxiously awaiting our turn! His nickname given to him by the NICU nurses at Egleston is"Tank" since he is such a big newborn.  He is so cute and we can't wait to have him home.  Here are a few recent pictures:
