Welcome Andy!

Our handsome nephew, Andy Matthew Parker, was born Monday, Sept 19 at 10:39 am weighing in at 10lbs, 4oz and 20 1/4 inches long! Soon after he was born, the doctors realized he was having some trouble breathing.  Josh and Amber were told that he would need to be moved to Floyd hospital in Rome to be placed on a ventilator.  Further x-rays revealed that he actually had a diaphragmatic hernia and would need to be taken to Scottish Rite (only to later find out it would actually be Egleston). It is has been quite a journey so far for this sweet baby! He had surgery on Friday and is doing really well. He will have to stay at Egleston until he can breathe on his own and is doing okay with feedings.  We are praying that is as soon as possible. Andy has people praying for him all over and we are so thankful for all the prayers, emails, cards, texts, meals, etc from so many of our friends and family.
