Round 2

We almost always have to eat two Thanksgiving meals in the same day, but this year my parents were gracious and postponed theirs until Saturday.  We all agreed that this is the way to go! The other Parkers and my Dad's brother, Chris, and his 2 kiddos joined us.  The spread was delicious as always and was gobbled up in a much shorter time than what it took to prepare it.  When the kids are at my mom's house, they get spoiled rotten.  They asked her to sit at the kids table so....

here is the kids' table plus...MiMi... Brody is there, too...you just can't see him because he is in his bouncy seat in the floor.

Every year, my dad sets up this train for the kids.  It is not an easy task because it is always falling off the track, but he continues to put it up because the kids love it so much.  We always tell them not to touch it, but of course, they do.  As we watched them touching the train I was thinking that we get so frustrated with them for touching the train because we know the headache it will cause to fix it.  I am sure our heavenly Father feels the same way with us- we know we shouldn't do certain things but we just can't help ourselves...and then there is the headache to fix the situation we got ourselves into! Yet, He puts it all back together for us again because He loves us.

Later in the day, we sent the kids outside to the putting green while we put Brody down for a nap. The weather around here is so crazy- hot one day, super cold the next. 

We obviously need to work on Will's putting skills :)

The kids all played well together and we ended the day with hugs and kisses for everyone!

Now....Bring on the Christmas season....the most wonderful time of the year!!!!! I think Brody is quite excited.
