Lately

We have had a busy few days at our house, but it has been so much fun.  Brody is still trying to get over his ear infection so he has been quite the trooper this weekend.  The fun began on Thursday when Danny's parents from Florida stopped by for on overnight visit on their way to Pennsylvania.  We ate pizza for dinner and got to spend some time visiting.  We also got to spend some time with sweet baby Taylor, too.  Brody liked talking to her and giving her hugs.

Brody's Nana made him this blanket- Auburn on one side and FSU on the other.  He loved it.

Friday night was date night for me and Danny, but before going out to eat we made a quick stop by the hospital to meet Liam. He is such a cute baby and I know him and Brody are going to be great buddies.

We headed downtown with my parents on Saturday for a local event that spotlighted different restaurants in the area and allowed you to snack on their yummy foods.  It was so hot and B was super thirsty so he got his first taste of fruit punch.  He was a pretty big fan and wanted his MiMi to give him more.  It wasn't very sweet so we didn't feel too guilty.

That evening our good friends, The Heggeland's, came over for dinner.  Brody showed off his new trick of playing peek-a-boo while we were eating.

After dinner we headed to the playground to let him and Hannah Kate swing.  Kelly showed us that the swings are actually made for 2 babies at one time--duh?!?! I can't believe we hadn't figured that out before.  No more taking turns on the swings with all the babies now.

 B always squeals when he swings.  He loves to go really high.

The weather has been so nice and we are looking forward to another day spent outside once Brody wakes up from his morning nap. We are so blessed to have not been affected by the recent storms.  Thank you for all of your calls checking on us!
