10 months old

Happy 10 Months, Brody!

Brody turned 10 months old today!  The poor baby had to start his day with a trip to the doctor's office (where we waited 1.5 hours) to discover he has a double ear infection! He was great at the doctor's office given it was nap time and he doesn't feel great- thank goodness for puffs.  :)  He has had a cough for over a week and he was fussier than normal this weekend so I took him just to be safe and sure enough- both ears.  He weighed 23lb, 15oz today, but he is actually thinning out because he is getting sooo long! But don't worry, he still has plenty of baby pudge and chubby cheeks to go around.

This month he decided that rolling around the floor is a good way to move from place to place and he has definitely mastered moving backwards.  His new tricks are clapping when you say yay, playing peek-a-boo and shaking his head.  B also loves finger foods and is feeding himself lots lately.  His schedule hasn't really changed any from last month. He is still a great sleeper and napper, making him a happy boy when he's awake...we are so very thankful! 

Overall, he is just a growing boy who loves to play (balls are his favorite) and be outside.  With the nicer weather we try to take a walk almost everyday and Brody loves looking around at all the trees and people. I love how he is interacting more and more! He added dog to his vocabulary this month and I think it is his new favorite word.  I can't believe that two months from today we will be celebrating his first birthday!
