We started the day with a recheck visit with Brody's surgeon who said everything looks great and we shouldn't need any return visits. Praise the Lord! We headed back to town for B's morning nap and then went to lunch at Shawna's house. Brody LOVES Shawna and is always excited to see her. Him and his buddy (also named Brody) were so cute loving on each other! I am so glad that Brody and his sweet family live just around the corner from us and they can grow up playing together. (Ignore the quality of pics and videos in the post b/c they are all from my phone.)
We came back home and Brody played some before going down for his afternoon nap. This is one of may favorite pictures so far of him. It shows his cute personality! He knows he isn't really supposed to chew on this, but hey if it keeps him entertained....
After his nap, one of my favorite people, Beth, came over for a visit. I met Beth while teaching at ALES and she is not only my friend but a great mentor for me as a teacher, parent, wife, and Godly woman. I am so thankful to have met her and wish we could hang out more often. Brody has always enjoyed spending time with her and tonight was no different. She was reading a book about fish to him and trying to get him to make a fish face. It was so funny!

The sun is shining (finally) and my little man is stirring so I guess it is time to start the day and look forward to a great weekend with warmer weather!
On a side note, please pray for my friend, Leslie, as her family prepares for her sweet grandfather to be completely healed and begin walking with Jesus soon!
