Danny came home from work on Friday, December 23rd and did not have to go back until today- total bliss and the perfect way to start the new year! We had a "stay-cation" where we worked around our house and caught up on some much needed rest. I know that when Brody wakes up in a little bit, he is going to be very disappointed that his Daddy is not here with us.
This is where B spent a lot of his time this week....
Our nephews spent the night with us one night and Brody loved having them to play with.
We spent a LOT of time in our PJ's.
We were "dog sitters" for some sweet friends whose Grandaddy passed away. Brody instantly fell in love with Derby who he called "RoRo" and is still asking for him.
We rang in the New Year with great friends, food, and HILARIOUS games. We couldn't have asked for a better break.
Today is back to the regular routine for all of us. We are excited to see what God has for us in 2012!
